Welcome to the Historical Ballinrobe website wherever you are in the world and we hope you enjoy browsing through the photographs, the memories, and information, generously shared by members of the community.

How can you help?  If you would like to contribute your own story or images – you’ll need to register a username and password first.  Every story and memory is important to us!

What would you like to see on the site?  Naturally, we would be delighted to hear of any suggestions or ideas that you would like added to the site, and we will do our best to fulfil those wishes.

Material

Anything at all to do with life in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo either past or indeed the present, which could be tomorrow’s history.

It could be documents, diaries, letters, bills, accounts, legal documents, songs or poetry, gravestone inscriptions and information, paintings, photographs, invoices, maps, sketches, posters, old advertisements, old badges or race cards.

You may be prompted by looking around the site and see what other people have added.   If is it only one photograph or piece of data or story it will be very welcome!
